Our Story

We refused to settle for “acceptable.”

Based in the heart of Southern Utah, RO Water Co was born from a deeply personal quest for purity. Our journey began in a city where the water met standard safety regulations but fell short of our expectations for true purity. Refusing to settle for “acceptable,” we set out to redefine what it means to have access to clean, pure water.

Our mission is clear: deliver the purest, cleanest water directly from your faucet. We harness industry-leading filtration technology, from intuitive touchless dispensing to on-demand filtered ice, for both residential and business needs, with unlimited access to premium hydration and no jugs to refill.

Choosing the right water purification system can be overwhelming. That is where our expertise comes in. We guide you to a system tailored to your needs, one that removes impurities and then reintroduces essential minerals and adjusts alkalinity for optimal health benefits.

Our commitment is also about sustainability. We are passionate about eliminating the risk of microplastics leaching from plastic jugs into your water, so every sip is as pure as nature intended.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What areas do you service?

We are locally owned and operated out of St. George, UT. We service St. George and the surrounding areas.

Does the water filter remove all the good minerals?

Reverse osmosis uses a semipermeable membrane to remove ions, molecules, and larger particles from water. While very effective at removing contaminants, it can also remove beneficial minerals.

That is why every one of our systems remineralizes the water afterward, adding back essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium. This improves taste and quality while providing important nutrients.

We also offer an optional Alkaline Water add-on that raises the pH of your water. Many customers prefer its smooth taste.

I thought my city's tap water was safe to drink?

City water systems are aging, and contamination can occur at almost any point in the delivery channel: lead leaching from corroded pipe solder, bacteria entering through water main breaks, or chemicals back-siphoned from a careless neighbor's garden hose.

Most local and state governments lack the resources to address these expensive problems, and most cities also add chemicals like chlorine and fluoride to their water. The best way to protect your family from the widening range of contaminants in today's tap water is a reverse osmosis drinking water system.

How effective is reverse osmosis compared to other filtration?

RO is the most convenient and effective method of water filtration. It squeezes water through a semi-permeable membrane rated at 0.0001 micron. This is the same technology used to make bottled water, and the only technology capable of desalinating seawater into drinking water.

Non-RO filters typically use a single activated carbon cartridge with pore sizes of 0.5 to 10 microns. They can catch coarse particles and sediment, but anything finer, including most dissolved substances, passes right through. The result is water that is far less clean and safe than reverse osmosis filtration.
